Baseball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jefferson City on Saturday, Troy-Buchanan came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Howell Vikings by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Troy-Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Howell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Troy-Buchanan by a score of 2-1 later that day.
