Basketball Recap: Godwin Heights Comes Up Short

Godwin Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-39 loss at the hands of the Christian Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Eagles are ranked 191st).

Godwin Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Godwin Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian, they will take on Catholic Central in a tournament on Friday.
