On Friday South Pointe take on Imagine Prep Superstition at Phoenix Christian HS 1751 W Indian School Rd at 7:00 PM. South Pointe are coming into the match hot, having won four in a row.

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between South Pointe and San Tan Charter. South Pointe put a hurting on San Tan Charter to the tune of 42-6. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point South Pointe had established a 28-6 advantage.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against St. John Paul II Catholic two weeks ago, Imagine Prep Superstition came back down to earth. Imagine Prep Superstition found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 29-58 punch to the gut against Canyon State Academy last Friday. Imagine Prep Superstition were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 23-43.

It was close but no cigar for South Pointe as they fell 12-15 to Imagine Prep Superstition the last time the two teams met. The defeat knocked South Pointe out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Imagine Prep Superstition with a vengeful fire.
