Basketball Game Preview: Rich Rebels vs. Panguitch Bobcats

Two dominant guards in Ridge Lundgren and Daxton Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Rich Rebels will square off against the Panguitch Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rich is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 17 games.

Rich is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Tabiona by a score of 81-68. The Rebels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Panguitch had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They walked away with a 54-46 victory over the Mustangs. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rich's record is now 22-2. As for Panguitch, their record is now 24-3.

Rich came up short against Panguitch in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 55-48. Can Rich avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
