Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Takes Down Ranked Campbell County

On Thursday, Holy Cross faced Campbell County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Holy Cross Indians strolled past the Campbell County Camels with points to spare, taking the game 59-45. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Camels, too.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Campbell County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

Holy Cross will head out on the road to take on Newport Central Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Campbell County, they will welcome South Laurel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Laurel will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Campbell County surely won't give up without a fight.
