The Stadium Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Peninsula Seahawks at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stadium comes in on ten and Peninsula on three.

While Stadium's victory against Bonney Lake wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came away the winners. Stadium sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Bonney Lake on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Jesse Winkler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Kula, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Peninsula scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past River Ridge 11-0. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Kaleb Copeland tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Matthew Sleeter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run. Isaac Schultz-Tait was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Stadium pushed their record up to 15-1 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Peninsula, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both the pair just can't seem to miss. Stadium has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Peninsula struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.7. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Stadium couldn't quite finish off Peninsula when the teams last played back in April of 2023 and fell 3-1. Can Stadium avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
