Basketball Game Preview: Poteet Aggies vs. Lytle Pirates

Poteet is 0-10 against Lytle since November of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Poteet Aggies will host the Lytle Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Poteet sitting on three straight wins and Lytle on four.

Last Tuesday, Poteet earned a 56-47 victory over Cotulla.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lytle). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Dilley 103-39. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Lytle pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.4 points per game. As for Poteet, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.
