Baseball Recap: Riceville Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

Riceville hadn't done well against North Tama recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Redhawks. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly three runs.

Riceville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for North Tama, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Riceville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Janesville on the 20th. As for North Tama, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-6 loss against GMG on the 20th.
