The matchup between American and Mission San Jose on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Warriors. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Mya Anderson was incredible, going 1-for-3 with five stolen bases and three runs. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dhwani Badala, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

American's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Mission San Jose, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
