Preview: Parkway South Patriots vs. Paseo Academy of Performing Arts Pirates
The Parkway South Patriots will take on the Paseo Academy of Performing Arts Pirates in a holiday battle at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Parkway South came up short against Fort Zumwalt West and fell 57-46.
Loss or not, Parkway South got some senior leadership from Ryan Shanfeld who scored ten points and Tristen Sutton who scored 11 points. Shanfeld also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Adam Burjoski was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Paseo Academy of Performing Arts' recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in November after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 70-20 loss at the hands of KIPP Legacy.
Parkway South bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Paseo Academy of Performing Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
