Volleyball Recap: Westwood Wins High-Profile Matchup Against ALA - Gilbert North

Westwood faced ALA - Gilbert North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Easton Davis paced Westwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Davis got some help from Jack Carpenter and his 21 assists. Ammon Wright controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-5.

Westwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Desert Ridge on the 19th. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Perry on the 19th.
