Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

If Mt. Pleasant was riding high fresh off their 21-8 takedown of Collinwood last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Hampshire Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Hampshire, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Mt. Pleasant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampshire, they will square off against Eagleville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
