Baseball Recap: Frisco Comes Up Short

If Frisco was feeling good fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Plano East on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Frisco Raccoons came up short against the Celina Bobcats on Saturday, falling 10-1. The game marked the Raccoons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Frisco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Mitchell, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Mitchell also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Frisco now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Celina, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Frisco will be taking part in a tournament against Fossil Ridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Celina, they will take on Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
