Volleyball Recap: Prospect Knights vs. Maine South Hawks
Prospect had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Maine South Hawks on Monday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Prospect was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.
Maine South's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teagan Heneghan, who had 12 assists and four digs. Heneghan has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.
