Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jacksonville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Crossville Lions by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Jacksonville have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Crossville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8-2.

Jacksonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crossville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against John Carroll Catholic on the 27th.
