Baseball Game Preview: Ritchie County Rebels vs. Williamstown Yellowjackets

Ritchie County hasn't had much luck against Williamstown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rebels will head out to face off against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. Ritchie County has given up an average of 12.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ritchie County managed to slip by Wahama the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rebels came up short against the Falcons on Monday, falling 12-2.

Ritchie County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Turner Shriver, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Williamstown was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of Fort Frye by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Yellowjackets have suffered since March 23rd.

Ritchie County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Williamstown, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Ritchie County might still be hurting after the 16-1 defeat they got from Williamstown in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
