Volleyball Recap: Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Central came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Morgan Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Jaylene Sanchez paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Sanchez got some help from Lacie Bigger and her 12 assists. Kayleigh Casteel controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Morgan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Central and Morgan will both be playing Hillsborough the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Terriers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
