Baseball Recap: Maplesville Takes a Loss

Maplesville fell victim to Autauga Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Autauga Academy Generals, falling 18-0. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Maplesville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Atcheson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Maplesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Autauga Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Maplesville is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against Thorsby at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Autauga Academy, they will square off against Montevallo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
