Recap: Danbury Panthers vs. East Bernard Brahmas
The Danbury Panthers lost against the East Bernard Brahmas back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Danbury fell 58-45 to East Bernard.
Ashlynn Lemos was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven steals and five assists for East Bernard. Lemos is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Malaya Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Danbury has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 15 of their last 18 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for East Bernard, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
Danbury will head out on the road to take on Harmony School of Discovery at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bernard, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hempstead at 6:00 p.m. Hempstead will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1367th, while East Bernard is ranked 645th).
