Baseball Recap: Juniata Valley Victorious

Juniata Valley proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the West Branch Warriors 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-9 on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Elijah Johns, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three RBI and one double. Those five hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blayne Sager, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
