Baseball Recap: North Posey Comes Up Short

North Posey lost to Forest Park back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell 8-4 to the Rangers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Davin Sullivan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has become a key player for North Posey: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 9-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ben Freeman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

North Posey now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Forest Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Posey will take on rival Boonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forest Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Tecumseh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
