Floyd Central had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Perry County Central on Wednesday. The Jaguars blew past the Commodores 13-4. The Jaguars not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23rd (when they won 18-1).

That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in April. Grant Jenkins was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Floyd Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-12. As for Perry County Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.
