Volleyball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy Wins Going Away Against Southwest Virginia Academy

Christian Heritage Academy lost to Southwest Virginia Academy back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Knights blew past the Conquerors 3-0.

Christian Heritage Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Julia White and Tessa Bowker, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Alaina Bowman and her 35 assists. Bowker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Kate Fifer, racking up four apiece.

The victory got Christian Heritage Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Christian Heritage Academy will welcome Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Virginia Academy, they will head out to square off against Lynchburg HomeSchool at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Conquerors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
