Soccer Recap: Mohave Comes Up Short

Mohave was the 3-2 winner over Prescott when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mohave Thunderbirds lost 5-1 to the Prescott Badgers on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by exactly four goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Nico Resendez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mohave is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4-1. As for Prescott, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Mohave will venture away from home to challenge Bradshaw Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bradshaw Mountain knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Mohave likes a good challenge. As for Prescott, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Flagstaff at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th.
