On Friday, Jenks was able to grind out a solid victory over Berryhill, taking the game 7-3. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Salina's offense. They came up short against Bixby on Thursday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jenks' victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Salina, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.
