Friday just wasn't the day for Water Valley's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Water Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isiah Webb, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Water Valley's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Ingomar, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3-1.
