Basketball Recap: Savoy Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Savoy faced off against Ford on Tuesday. The Savoy Cardinals escaped with a win against the Ford Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 23-22. The 23-point effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Savoy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Ford, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Savoy will take on Bellevue in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ford, they will take on Yantis in a tournament on December 27th.
