Softball Recap: Sissonville Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Sissonville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 12-1 to the Hoover Huskies. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost five in a row.

Lydia Ellis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Sissonville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Hoover, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Sissonville nor Hoover have any future games scheduled.
