The Indian River Indians will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Colonel Richardson Colonels at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Indian River's 16-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Lake Forest on Tuesday, falling 70-41. While losing is never fun, Indian River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Lake Forest is ranked seventh).
Meanwhile, even though Pocomoke scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Colonel Richardson still came out on top. Colonel Richardson strolled past Pocomoke with points to spare, taking the game 83-65. 83 seems to be a good number for Colonel Richardson as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Indian River's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Colonel Richardson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
