Softball Recap: Citrus Hill Comes Up Short

Citrus Hill came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 22-1 to the Heritage Patriots. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Citrus Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Lupercio, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Lupercio brought in this season.

Citrus Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Heritage, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Citrus Hill Hawks challenge Vista del Lago Ravens at 3:15 p.m. on March 11th. As for Heritage, they will face off against Norte Vista at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
