Pecos had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Monahans Loboes on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 21, 2025.

Eddie Rodriguez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Avrick Rodriguez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Pecos' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 6-20-2. As for Monahans, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Pecos nor Monahans have any future games scheduled.
