Baseball Recap: Hundred Victorious

Hundred's game back in March was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Harman Panthers 14-2. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ryley Wright, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Derby, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Hundred's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hundred will head out to face off against Mapletown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Maples have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.89 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harman, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
