Basketball Game Preview: Lindbergh Eagles vs. Kennedy Catholic Lancers

Lindbergh is 0-4 against Kennedy Catholic since December of 2014 but things could change on Saturday. The Lindbergh Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Kennedy Catholic Lancers at 5:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Lindbergh was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to Beamer.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kennedy Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past Renton with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 70-53. The Lancers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kennedy Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Lindbergh, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Lindbergh came up short against Kennedy Catholic when the teams last played back in January of 2016, falling 72-68. Thankfully for Lindbergh, Emilio Mancol (who went 11 for 19 on his way to 25 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
