Basketball Recap: ED White Comes Up Short

ED White won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 71-42 loss at the hands of the Sandalwood Saints. If the Commanders were looking for revenge after losing 62-51 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sandalwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wilkin Perez, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Sydney B. Mathis Jr, who put up 12 points.

ED White has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Sandalwood, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ED White will venture away from home to take on Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sandalwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tocoi Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sandalwood surely won't give up without a fight.
