Basketball Recap: Channelview Falcons vs. Pasadena Eagles
The Channelview Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They took a 44-28 bruising from Pasadena. If Channelview was looking for revenge after losing 41-21 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Pasadena found their leader in underclassman Caryme Molina, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Rockeria Raspberry was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Channelview's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Pasadena, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-20.
Channelview will challenge the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena Memorial presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Falcons in Texas (the Mavericks are ranked 480th, while the Falcons are ranked 1341st). As for Pasadena, they will be playing at home against the Texans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
