Basketball Recap: Central Christian's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Trinity Christian School of Griffin came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Central Christian, but Avery Steidinger wouldn't allow it. The Central Christian Crusaders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS 69-67 thanks in part to Steidinger, who went 9 of 22 on his way to 34 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. Those eight boards gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian School of Griffin still got an impressive performance from Israel Lockridge, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 24 points along with eight boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Travone Appling, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.
