Chase extends road losing streak to 11

This season hasn't been kind to the Chase Trojans, who are still winless after their 11th match. They were beaten by Polk County 55-21 on Tuesday. Chase has not had much luck with Polk County recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Polk County found their leader in underclassman Bailey Staton, who scored 19 points. Staton hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Mia Bradley was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Chase bumped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.7 points per game. As for Polk County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Chase will look to defend their home court on Friday against Patton at 6:00 p.m. Patton has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Polk County, they will head out on the road to square off against East Rutherford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. East Rutherford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
