Basketball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Forest Hills Northern on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 74-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hills Northern Huskies. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Wayland and nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Forest Hills Northern, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Wayland nor Forest Hills Northern have any future games scheduled.
