Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wynot walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Cambridge Trojans 3-2 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Kenna Oligmueller paced Wynot's offense, picking up 25 kills. Oligmueller got some help from Haley Wieseler and her 42 assists. Wieseler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Wynot's win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Cambridge, they moved to 28-8 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.
As of now, neither Wynot nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
