It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Santa Fe ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the St. Michael's Horsemen out 47-45. The Demons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

St. Michael's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gianna Sanchez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards, and Mariella Ruiz, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and three steals.

Santa Fe has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for St. Michael's, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
