Softball Recap: Tennyson Takes a Loss

Tennyson lost against Berkeley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 21-2. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tennyson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Berkeley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Tennyson and Berkeley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Lancers will challenge San Leandro at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th with a big rank disadvantage (977 vs. 249). Meanwhile, Berkeley (ranked 569th) will meet Castro Valley (ranked 104th) at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th.
