Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Lake Forest can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Belvidere Bucs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Forest took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11.

Lake Forest's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Belvidere, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lake Forest and Belvidere will both be playing Naperville North the next time they take the court. The Scouts will head out to face the Huskies at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bucs will play them later in the day, at 9:30 a.m.
