Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lovejoy Leopards, falling 62-25. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-7.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Lovejoy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Greenville will be playing in front of their home fans against McKinney North at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lovejoy, they will head out on the road to square off against Sherman at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
