The Neumann Celtics will take on the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coral Shores took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Neumann, who comes in off a win.

Neumann is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past First Baptist Academy to the tune of 54-0 last Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Celtics considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Neumann had a senior duo take command as Peyton Frontino threw for 334 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes and Jayden Petit picked up 215 receiving yards and six scores. Frontino's passing game has become a key predictor of the Celtics' success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Rony Raposo, who picked up 119 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Coral Shores didn't have quite enough to beat ABF Academy on Friday and fell 20-17. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Neumann's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Coral Shores, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
