After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River City, Woodland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Dixon Rams by a score of 62-51. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Woodland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joseph Quezada out in front who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Ramirez, who had 14 points.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Dixon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Woodland and Dixon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Woodland (ranked 1128th) will meet Sutter (ranked 531st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dixon (ranked 605th) will meet Natomas (ranked 241st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
