South Gwinnett and Meadowcreek are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. The Comets will challenge the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, South Gwinnett came up short against Heritage and fell 2-0. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it looked like the Kentucky Derby when Meadowcreek faced off against Brookwood on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10.

South Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Meadowcreek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

South Gwinnett couldn't quite get it done against Meadowcreek in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
