Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hayden Gravatt and Wyatt Fulton Lead Johnson-Brock to Victory

Johnson-Brock's game on Thursday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 28-22 W over the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 34-24 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Johnson-Brock was led to victory by Wyatt Fulton and Hayden Gravatt. Fulton rushed for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Gravatt rushed for 141 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards Fulton has posted since back in October of 2024.

Although Lourdes Central Catholic took the loss, they still got scores from Callen Schnitzer, Alec Schnitzer, and Oscar Krog.

Johnson-Brock pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Johnson-Brock and Lourdes Central Catholic are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Eagles will face off against St. Patrick's on Thursday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Gravatt and Mason Giebler. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they will square off against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Thursday.
