Fluvanna County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Charlottesville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Flying Flucos never let the Black Knights get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Flying Flucos, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Fluvanna County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Charlottesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Fluvanna County will face off against Albemarle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flying Flucos are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Charlottesville, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-7 victory against Waynesboro on the 2nd.
