Recap: Electra Tigers vs. Haskell Indians
The Electra Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Haskell. Electra lost against Haskell in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-6 score last time.
Among those leading the charge was Haegen Pinkerton, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 132 yards and a touchdown. Nemo Silvas also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.
Electra's defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 3-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.5 points per game. As for Haskell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Electra will be playing at home against Windthorst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windthorst will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Haskell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
