Basketball Recap: Saks Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Saks had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Westbrook Christian Warriors with a 39-35 victory. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sania Angel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 of 12 to rack up 13 points and eight rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jakailynn Carter, who posted nine points.

Saks' victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Westbrook Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Saks nor Westbrook Christian have any future games scheduled.
